SF New Mexican Article Screen Shot_edite

As a junior high student in Santa Fe, New Mexico, I had an experience that set the course for my life's work. My friends and I came across a dog in need, and without hesitation, we stepped in to help. It was a simple act of kindness that felt natural at the time, but it left a lasting impact.

Our small rescue effort caught the attention of the Santa Fe New Mexican, which ran a story about it. We were also privileged to be honored by the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. While it seemed like just another adventure then, looking back, I realize it was the spark that ignited my passion for working with dogs.

This early experience taught me the profound impact we can have on a dog's life and the deep connection that forms in the process. It's a lesson that has guided me throughout my journey to becoming a professional trainer.

Today, as I work with dogs and their owners, I often think back to that moment. It reminds me why I chose this path and fuels my commitment to helping dogs and their owners build strong, positive relationships.

From that young boy helping a dog in need to the trainer I am today, my mission has remained the same: to make a positive difference in the lives of dogs and the people who love them.
